Intro to 28 Days

. . . the capacity of life to go beyond its human, recognizable, already given forms . . .
--Claire Colebrook

For 28 days, we will practice relational aesthetics throughout the American Southwest.
We will use media to explore and release life's capacities to go beyond its human, recognizable, already given forms and practices.
During 28 days, we will both stage and creatively respond to encounters among natural, built, and human forces.

The forces we will encounter:
light
wind
landscape
movement
color
collaboration
attraction
daily life practices
architecture
histories
time
present and unleash potentials for already given forms and ways of being to breach into newness and surprise.

For 28 days we will move creatively and in accord with these forces in ways that "open whole new and hidden lines of becoming, thoroughly beyond recognition" (Colebrook).

All in the name of inventing living spaces and practices that are more without excess. (view project description)

Thank you, smudgers, for your delicious photos. M and I want you to know that

we are receiving
your signals, blue and orange
...colors inbetween.

Please continue transmissions. Sometimes we are off the grid. Hopefully you are sometimes too!
